(Australia-NewsWire.Com, December 07, 2012 ) VIC, Australia -- Co Londonderry’s Bloc Blinds announced a 50% increase in sales over the last year as a result of its new, patented, energy-saving window blind design.
The Northern Ireland company, which is headquartered in Draperstown, points to the BlocOut window blind as a revolutionary new product that saves consumer more than 40% in heating costs with its energy-efficient barrier.
“The BlocOut window blind is a simple, yet innovative system that has revolutionized the roller blind market by delivering proven energy efficiency alongside design, style and a patented EasyFit system,” said company Managing Director Cormac Diamond.

With the help of Invest Northern Ireland, the company recently funnelled £250,000 into research and development, allowing it to hire 10 new employees.
