(Australia-NewsWire.Com, May 11, 2016 ) Sydney, Australia -- A recent study commissioned by baby products manufacturer, AirbornBaby has found that 84 percent of mothers noticed a significant change in the moods and sleeping habits of their babies after using AirbornBaby's nursing pillow. The study was conducted between March 1 to April 4, 2016. The participants were 500 mothers with babies aged 0 to 12 months.
The study required the participants to record the number of sleeping hours of their babies during the first 15 days of the study period, as well as their mood patterns in the minutes after their babies' nap and feeding time. Then, from the 16th day to the 20th day of the study period, they recorded the same data, only this time, they were given a chance to use AirbornBaby's nursing pillow. The data gathered from the mothers suggested that babies sleeping hours increased by 1 to 2 hours after being nursed and falling asleep on the feeding pillow.
The study also indicated an improvement in babies' moods by up to 67 percent after being placed on the nursing pillow during their feeding time. "I noticed that my baby seemed calmer and in the mood to play more than usual when I used the feeding pillow," said Shannon Ingram, 36 years old from Austin, TX. "And in my opinion, the pillow did help reduce her mood swings caused by colic."
After using AirbornBaby nursing pillow, 92 percent of the respondents said they would definitely use it again while 82 percent said they would purchase the product as a gift to someone they knew. "I just feel that it's very convenient for me, especially because I'm a single mom and I don't have anyone to assist me with the baby," Brenda Schultz said, a mother of a six-month old boy from Columbus, Ohio. "I love that the pillow self-inflates and you can simply roll it and keep it in your purse."
AirbornBaby pillow uses an advanced ergonomic technology that helps contour the baby's body for a more comfortable feeding experience. It has also been proven to reduce colic and promote sleep. Furthermore, the self-inflating feature of the pillow makes feeding easier for moms who are always on the go.
