(Australia-NewsWire.Com, April 13, 2016 ) Sydney, Australia -- In this fast-paced world, women are now more career-oriented and tend to rise to positions of power in different fields. But research also shows that full-time mothers are just as preoccupied as career women. With the number of career-driven women and even working mothers rising each year, various studies now show that women hardly have time for simple pleasures in life.
A survey commissioned by Bailey's and conducted in Australia in 2014 suggested that 78% of women hardly have any time for themselves or their social lives. "Well having kids, is probably one reason. Working and all the usual things in life. It's very difficult to spend time with friends," said Shelly Quatrale, one of the respondents, adding that she spends only about 1% of her time with close friends.
But time for friends isn't the only thing suffering. According to a recent study conducted by a British skin care company, women now hardly have time for other pleasures, like taking a shower. The study found that almost two thirds out of over 2,000 women aged 18-50 years old don't take a bath every day and tend to take for granted beauty and skin care. Meanwhile, 63% tend to go to bed without washing off their make-up, with 35% citing lack of time as the reason. Despite this, 92% of the respondents say that they understand the importance of skin care regimens.
While there are millions of skin care products out there, the best ones are always those that contain natural ingredients. Too many harsh, science laboratory-produced chemicals on skin do harm than good. Skin experts are telling consumers what big pharma doesn't want them to hear – beauty products that started out as a small, home concoction are more trustworthy than known brands.
Equally important as skin care is nail care. But going to the nail salon weekly just doesn't cut it – it takes too much time and money. However, small companies are now finding ways to come up with affordable, innovative and ethical products that address this beauty regimen issue. Keeping up with the nail gel trend, one well-rated nail product on Amazon is "Polish to Gel" from Hydracol. It's a product that's gaining more and more popularity now in Australia. Simply put, Polish to Gel transforms normal nail polish into gel.
"It's true, women today have a hard time taking care of themselves let alone going to the nail spa for a manicure or pedicure," says Hydracol beauty consultan, Polly Graham. According to Grahan, Polish to Gel uses ingredients that coats the nails, protecting it from chipping or breaking without putting one's health at risk. Because it transforms any color of nail polish into gel, it retains the compact nature of nail polish, lasting for 14 days or more.
"Technically speaking, Polish to Gel could also save you money, as you don't need to visit the nail salon every week and you can embellish your nails right in the comfort of your home," says Graham. Formulated by Hydracol, a beauty product company established in 2007 that focuses on ethical, healthy and natural ingredients.
"Hydracol is leading the revolution in gel technology and has taken it to the next level," the company website read. "This formula has not only been designed to hydrate and condition your nails. It has also been designed so any colour choosen can be a gel color."
